Role Purpose

Through management of the content development team, manage and execute strategic operations of publishing and marketing tools for digital content publishing to successfully achieve campaign and business objectives. Ensure continuous improvement and education on all areas of operations including delivery, publishing, processes, quality control, reporting, tool enhancements and efficiency. 

Key Accountabilities

    • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of marketing tools operations including efficient execution of campaigns and tests, defining and documenting standards and best practices, socialization and knowledge-transfer to team, metric reporting, influencing prioritization of tool enhancements, quality control, and efficiency solutions including automation optimization    

    • Execute/deliver on campaign strategy and best-in-class customer experience that aligns across brand & regional marketing goals to achieve campaign objectives and generate high success rates as it relates to digital content publishing 

    • Oversee execution of authoring and publishing services for landing pages, vanities, merchandising, personalization and testing 

    • Apply knowledge of authoring and publishing principles, concepts, leading tools and industry-wide practices to develop standards and best practices in the analysis of efficient publishing  

    • Develop and socialize standards, best practices and process documentation and maintain them in a centralized portal 

    • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities in the production or publishing processes  

    • Recommend and influence tool optimization to elevate and promote new ways of working that leverages automation where possible for efficiency. 

    • Work directly with partners to determine and fully understand business objectives and necessary deliverables. 

    • Forensic and functionality investigation as requested 

    • Ensure quality control by performing quality assurance checks against standards and best practices 

    • Ensure processes are followed globally and consistently throughout team 

    • Recommend and implement strategic initiatives for testing personalized experiences and drive marketing effectiveness 

    • Develop strategic implementation recommendations against a test and learn agenda leveraging analytics, insights and consumer behavior, as well as the campaign or channel initiative hypothesis 

    • Ensure legal requirements are understood and proactively managed throughout the team 

    • Manage, track and report on volume of work to manage capacity and utilization against demand or load 

    • Oversees on-time delivery of omni-channel campaigns and non-campaigns globally against global campaign/editorial calendar 

    • Oversees resource allocation of campaigns and non-campaigns and monitors deliverables 

    • Work effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the business to ensure enterprise-wide business objectives met 

Key Skills & Experiences

Education  

Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.  

 

Experience  

  • 5-7 years' experience with digital content management, production and publishing  

  • Preference given to those with areas of experience with a Content Management System such as Adobe Experience Manager, a Digital Asset Management system (like Dynamic Media), and a personalization/targeting tool (DMP, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target) 

 

Technical Skills and Knowledge 

  • Demonstrated use of content management system (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager  

  • Proficient in a Digital Asset Management (DAM) System (Adobe a plus) 

  • Proficient in AEM authoring, publishing and workflows 

  • Proficient in Adobe Target test implementation  

  • Expertise in Experience Fragment creation 

  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain corporate web sites 

  • Demonstrated core competency with HTML and Javascript 

  • Basic understanding of agile methodology a plus  

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to understand and communicate technical problems and solutions in a non-technical manner 

  • Project Management experience 

  • Effective problem solving 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate in a team setting 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines 

  • Ability to create presentations and effectively deliver key points of information
