This role enable the commercial analytics team to generate insights and support decision making in a timely fashion by equipping them with a wide variety of high-quality downstream data assets and modern analytics tools. Understand IHG systems, operational data and develop accurate, reliable downstream data assets to satisfy business needs.
Your day to day
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and act as a bridge between business and technology teams to orchestrate complex implementations.
- Oversee data product life cycle and delivery by managing end to end delivery of data products and ensuring products are delivered on time, meet acceptance criteria, and provide accurate and reliable data.
- Drive adoption and value of the products through training, documentation, and advocacy.
What we need from you
- Expert level SQL skills & strong Python scripting skills. Experience in working in a Cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong understanding of Data Architecture and deep understanding of the overall data in an Enterprise and the ability to understand data in the context of business goals
- Experience extracting and managing structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Ability to implement data processes and standards to ensure high quality data
- Ability to define and document business process flows and data standards
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability translate business requirements into functional requirements and to interact across both business and IT groups
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and collaborative skills
- Comfortable and effective with issues that lack clarity, structure or certainty
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field with 8 years of experience in data engineering or data analytics; or master's degree in data analytics, data engineering or closely related field with 6 years of experience and at least 4 years in data engineering or data analytics
- Minimum Four (4) years or more relevant SQL coding experience including data management or related areas. Required
Location -. Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $130,000 This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
