Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment and hotel facilities are in good working condition.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and engineering-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to guest comfort.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and adhere to sustainability practices as per IHG guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and fire prevention policies.
• Maintain daily logbooks, records of maintenance activities, and inventory of spare parts.
• Assist in capital projects, refurbishment, and minor renovations when required.
• Cooperate with other departments to deliver seamless guest service.

Job Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant trade.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel/ facility maintenance or a similar role.
• Multi-skilled in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English and local language.
• Physically fit to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and fire-life-safety systems.
