So, we’re looking for a Learning & Development Manager at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong who is passionate about driving excellence, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and proactively sharing the future of Kimpton. This role will create and manage learning and development curriculum which enables our associates to bring the best out of themselves and deliver truly memorable experiences to our guests and associates.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Designing and delivering impactful learning and development initiatives that elevate service standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest and employee experience
Building tailored training programmes that align with hotel business needs and drive continuous improvement
Partnering with department heads to identify training priorities, evaluate programme effectiveness, and ensure training objectives are met
Developing creative ways to inspire and motivate the team to provide exceptional guest and employee experiences
Inspiring and motivating associates to reach their full potential through innovative approaches and hands-on facilitation
Sourcing talents for internship placement and leading the internship programmes
Supporting HR projects including staff engagement activities, staff engagement survey
What we need from you
A minimum of 8 years’ solid work experience in hotel learning and development function, with at least 2 years at managerial role
A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, hospitality management, or equivalent
Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and project management capability and dynamic to work in fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Passionate in learning
Ability to build networks and collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners
Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must, speaking and writing; speak other languages is an advantage
