As a Laundry Manager you have to supervise and coordinate activities of room attendant, laundry attendant, public area cleaners and floor supervisors. He / She should assist in the managing and directing of the day–to–day operations of all Housekeeping and laundry functions. The role involves bringing all the knowledge and standards required to maintain and surpass the guest’s highest expectations. Promote the desired work culture by living the 5 winning ways value – Do the Right thing, Show we care, Aim Higher, Celebrate Difference, Work better together. 

Your day-to-day

• Report to shift on time in issued uniform in a neat, clean and tidy appearance at all times.
• Responsible for the smooth running of the operation and all related areas (Laundry, Linen & logistic Operation, Wardrobe).
• Ensures all Guest laundry requirements are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Liaise with Front Office and Housekeeping for special requests.
• Issue a weekly action item list with outstanding issue
• Ensure RFID system is adequately and consistently used for both uniform and linen. (in and out)
• Provide feedback in a positive and encouraging way on team performance.
• Ensure that all laundry and valet equipment is properly maintained and operating.
• Provide training to laundry employees and take corrective action when performance is not satisfactory
• Ensure that laundry employees are knowledgeable about hotel’s services and facilities
