Are you passionate about maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Kitchen Steward who takes pride in cleanliness, teamwork, and supporting culinary excellence.
A little taste of your day-to-day:No two days are the same, but your key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
Operating dishwashing machines and handling cleaning chemicals safely
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling duties
Supporting the culinary team by organizing and replenishing kitchen supplies
Following hygiene, health, and safety regulations as per IHG and local standards
Reporting maintenance issues or broken equipment to the supervisor immediately
Working closely with chefs and other team members to support meal service operations
What we need from you:Previous experience in a stewarding or cleaning role is preferred, but not required
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items for extended periods
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
