Our restaurant Ivy & Jack is having a fresh new makeover and we're getting ready to welcome guests back through the doors. We're looking for experienced Kitchen Attendants to join our expanding team.

Position: Kitchen Attendant (Part Time)

The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes. We’re looking for Kitchen Attendants to help our chefs make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
• Maintaining food storage areas
• Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
• Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling and washing
• Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes

What we need from you:

• Passion for delivering great service
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant in a busy kitchen environment 
• Food Handling Certificate
• Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team 

• Is flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, early mornings, weekends and public holidays across a seven-day roster

• Working rights in Australia

• Current national police clearance (not older than 6 months)
