A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house areas, to deter and detect any security risks.
- Respond to security-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate action while following established protocols.
- Assist with investigations into security incidents and work closely with senior security staff and management to address any issues.
- Accurately and meticulously document all security activities, including daily log entries, incident reports, and patrol records.
- Help with the delivery of security training and awareness programs for hotel staff, promoting a proactive approach to safety and security.
- Collaborate with all departments, including front office and housekeeping, to implement effective security measures and foster a secure environment.
What We need from you:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a security-related role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Foundational knowledge of security procedures and relevant local regulations.
- Experience in conducting security patrols and documenting activities and incidents.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to respond to emergencies.
