The In-Room Dining Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire in-room dining operation, ensuring exceptional service delivery to guests in their rooms. This includes managing a team of order takers, servers, and support staff, ensuring timely and accurate order delivery, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and achieving guest satisfaction in line with the hotel's brand and service standards.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the in-room dining department, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight service.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and courteous delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate in-room dining staff to uphold service excellence.
- Develop and implement service procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Work with the culinary team to design and update the in-room dining menu based on guest preferences and seasonal trends.
- Monitor guest feedback and respond to concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of in-room dining workstations and pantries.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and operating equipment to ensure service readiness.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front office, to enhance the guest experience.
- Analyse sales reports, track key performance metrics, and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food & beverage operations, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role in in-room dining.
- Excellent knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order management tools.
- Fluency in English is required; other languages (especially Arabic, French, or Mandarin) are an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
