At Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu Naxal, we believe in simple, smart travel—where efficiency meets warmth, and every moment counts. Located in the vibrant hub of the city, our hotel caters to modern travellers with 100 comfortable rooms, smart facilities, and a team driven by purpose. As we continue our journey, we are looking for a passionate Human Resources Manager who will help us create a workplace where people love to work, grow, and succeed.

We’re not just about check-ins and check-outs—we’re about people. And as Human Resources Manager, you’ll lead the way in making our culture strong, inclusive, and aligned with both IHG’s True Hospitality values and Nepal’s labour standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
  • Every day will bring something new, but you’ll mostly be:
  • Leading HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and performance management
  • Partnering with department heads to drive a high-performance, people-first culture
  • Ensuring legal compliance with local labour laws and company policies
  • Managing employee relations and acting as a trusted point of contact for team concerns
  • Championing IHG initiatives like Celebrate Service Week, Giving for Good, and the IHG Academy
  • Supporting wellness, DEI, and CSR programs that build team morale and community impact
  • Handling HR data, payroll inputs, and benefits administration with accuracy and confidentiality
What we need from you:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 6–8 years of progressive HR experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong understanding of Nepal Labour Act and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • A warm, approachable personality with a hands-on attitude
What you can expect from us:

We give our people everything they need to succeed. From a competitive salary that rewards all your hard work to a wide range of benefits designed to help you live your best work life – including a full uniform, impressive room discounts and some of the best training in the business.

Our mission is to welcome everyone and create inclusive teams where we celebrate difference and encourage colleagues to bring their whole selves to work. IHG Hotels & Resorts provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability. We promote a culture of trust, support, and acceptance. Always welcoming different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

IHG gives every member of the team  the room they need to belong, grow and make a difference in a collaborative environment. We know that to work well, we need to feel well – both inside and outside of work – and through our myWellbeing framework, we are committed to supporting wellbeing in your health, lifestyle, and workplace.

Don't quite meet every single requirement, but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job? We'll never know unless you hit the 'Apply' button. Start your journey with us today.
