A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain qualified staff across all departments.
  • Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance staff skills and career growth.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal systems.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, motivation, and high performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and operational requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to improve HR processes.

What We need from you:

  •  High school diploma, secondary education or equivalent 
  • 2 years’ related experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred. 
  • Must speak fluent English 
  • Other languages may be preferred
