Housekeeping Team Leader - HIEX MAATP

Supervise room attendants and public area attendants during shifts.

Conduct daily room inspections to ensure adherence to Holiday Inn Express brand standards.

Assist in cleaning rooms during high occupancy or staff shortage.

Ensure all cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment are properly used and maintained.

Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status updates (vacant, occupied, out-of-order, rush rooms, etc.).

Monitor laundry operations and linen stock levels.

Ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and ready on time.

Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.

Support the team in maintaining brand service culture: friendly, efficient, and hassle-free.

Train new team members on cleaning procedures and safety standards.

Provide ongoing coaching to ensure consistent quality.

Assist in scheduling and shift allocations.

Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, health and safety guidelines, and hotel SOPs.

Maintain proper usage of PPE and cleaning chemicals.

Report any maintenance or safety issues to the engineering team.

Previous experience in housekeeping; supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and chemical handling.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-occupancy environment.

Basic computer skills (PMS experience preferred).
