We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join the Rooms Division team at InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay. In this role, you will contribute to delivering immaculate, luxurious living spaces that reflect the sophistication and world-class standards of the InterContinental brand. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you’ll ensure exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and presentation across all residences and public areas, enhancing the guest and resident experience at every step.
Located in the heart of Dubai’s dynamic Business Bay district—moments from the Dubai Mall and the iconic Burj Khalifa—InterContinental Residences stands as a sanctuary of luxury and timeless elegance. With 176 exquisitely designed residences, the property embodies refined hospitality and delivers an elevated lifestyle experience for every guest and resident.
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you play an essential role in maintaining the property’s standards of excellence, ensuring every space reflects the quality, luxury, and attention to detail synonymous with the InterContinental brand.
Your Day-to-Day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Housekeeping Operations- Clean and service guest residences and public areas to IHG Luxury & Lifestyle standards.
- Ensure rooms are impeccably presented—fresh linens, spotless surfaces, and fully stocked amenities.
- Handle laundry, linen, and cleaning equipment with care and efficiency.
- Support daily room assignments and complete tasks within required timeframes.
- Assist with deep cleaning, turn-down service, and special cleaning projects as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with IHG safety standards, Dubai Municipality regulations, and hygiene protocols.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning, chemical handling, and equipment usage.
- Report maintenance concerns promptly to ensure seamless operations and guest comfort.
- Uphold Forbes standards by maintaining refined cleanliness, organization, and guest-focused presentation.
- Collaborate closely with the housekeeping team and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Support colleagues during peak periods by assisting in assigned floors or public areas when needed.
- Communicate effectively to maintain workflow, service quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Stay updated on best practices, cleaning techniques, and proper use of modern housekeeping equipment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning and developing within a luxury housekeeping environment.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance, and personal discipline.
What We Need from You
Qualifications & Experience- Previous experience in housekeeping within luxury hotels, serviced residences, or upscale environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with cleaning standards and room care procedures in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in pre-opening operations is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
