Housekeeping Attendant

InterContinental Wellington is a luxury hotel in the heart of Wellington CBD. We’re looking for people who know what it takes to exceed guest expectations.

Your day to day

We currently have opportunities available for both a Room Attendant and a Public Area Attendant to join our housekeeping team. 

Room Attendant: Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities.

Public Area Attendant: Clean and maintain public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, lifts, and restrooms, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.

In both roles you may support general housekeeping operations when required. We’re looking for reliable team members with good attention to detail who take pride in creating great guest experiences.

What we need from you

• You'll have a great attitude and take pride in your work. 
• Full training provided.
• You will be hardworking and able to do a physically demanding role.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate and work effectively with the team.
• A valid New Zealand visa or residency is essential.
