Job Summary:
As a House Attendant (Housekeeping Support), you play a critical role in supporting the Housekeeping team and Room Attendants by ensuring all carts, closets, and service areas are fully stocked, organized, and maintained to Regent’s luxury standards. Your work ensures operational excellence behind the scenes—helping create seamless, efficient service and enabling Room Attendants to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about hospitality.
A little bit about your day:
Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, your day-to-day may include:
Uphold Regent’s service philosophy and maintain luxury presentation standards
Attend daily shift briefings and retrieve assignments and tools
Stock housekeeping carts with linens, terry, amenities, and supplies
Ensure linen closets and service areas are clean, organized, and fully replenished throughout the shift
Support Room Attendants by delivering supplies, retrieving soiled linen, and responding to service needs
Clean and maintain public areas, back-of-house spaces, and service elevator landings
Monitor and restock bulk amenities and housekeeping chemicals
Ensure proper labeling and safe use of chemicals in accordance with MSDS guidelines
Maintain and use required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Deliver guest requests promptly (target: within 10 minutes) with professional presentation
Assist with turndown preparations, including ice service and room readiness
Inspect corridors and assigned areas for cleanliness and presentation (fixtures, carpets, windows, balconies)
Support inventory control by rotating stock and monitoring expiration dates
Ensure guest rooms are stocked with glassware, coffee service items, and amenities as needed
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns using the designated system
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment and storage areas
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, front office, and other departments
Follow all safety, sanitation, and security standards
Assist with additional duties as assigned
What We need from you:
Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or house attendant experience, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or lifestyle brand
Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and support functions in a high-end hospitality environment
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain organization across multiple work areas
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting room operations
Strong communication skills and a professional, service-focused mindset
Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 100 pounds, and perform repetitive movements including standing, bending, and stooping
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What you can expect from us:
The hourly pay range for this role is $24.52 to $30.65. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach.
