We are looking for a Hotel Services Team Member- Reservations attendant to join our Reservations Team If you're enthusiastic about delivering outstanding guest experiences and being part of a team that celebrates local culture, we'd love to hear from you. This is a Part-time role, based on HIGA Level 3.
 

Your Day to Day:

  • Deliver warm, efficient service across phone and email while sharing local knowledge and recognising IHG One Rewards members.
  • Manage reservations with accuracy — updating profiles, confirming details, processing payments, and keeping rates and availability aligned.
  • Support group bookings and communicate clearly with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Upsell where appropriate and highlight promotions to enhance guest stays and hotel revenue.
  • Follow WH&S procedures and assist with general duties as needed — we work together as one team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Reservations, Front Office, or customer‑focused hotel roles
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • A naturally warm, engaging personality with confidence to delight guests
  • Solid organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of the Opera property management system is a plus.
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
