As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:
- Safely transport hotel guests, VIPs, and executives to and from designated destinations with utmost courtesy, precision, and professionalism.
- Demonstrate exceptional driving etiquette, ensuring comfort, safety, and a seamless journey experience at all times.
- Uphold complete confidentiality and discretion, particularly when attending to high-profile or distinguished guests.
- Comply with all traffic regulations, hotel protocols, and safety standards without exception.
- Maintain hotel vehicles in immaculate condition through daily cleaning, polishing, fueling, and inspection.
- Monitor vehicle performance, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs to ensure reliability and presentation consistency.
- Accurately record mileage, fuel consumption, service schedules, and trip details.
- Extend a warm, personalized welcome to guests upon arrival, opening doors and assisting with luggage and belongings with poise and efficiency.
- Handle, tag, and store luggage carefully and securely, ensuring swift delivery during check-in, check-out, or room transfers.
- Offer thoughtful assistance with local knowledge—providing refined recommendations on dining, cultural attractions, and transportation options.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the Concierge and Front Office teams to deliver flawless, anticipatory service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Maintain the hotel entrance, driveway, and lobby areas in pristine, organized, and inviting condition at all times.
- Deliver guest messages, packages, and amenities promptly and discreetly.
- Support comprehensive transportation coordination to ensure punctual, smooth, and luxurious guest movements throughout their stay.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2–3 years of driving experience in a luxury hotel, limousine service, or hospitality environment.
- Valid professional driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Defensive driving or hospitality driving certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English (additional languages an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of local roads, airports, and traffic patterns.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation standards suitable for a luxury environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and discreet with a focus on guest privacy and comfort.
- Ability to handle guest requests with poise, discretion, and genuine hospitality.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and handle luggage up to 25 kg.
