The Role

As the Head of Workforce Management, you will lead the deployment of UKG workforce management solutions across US IHG Hotels & Resorts. This role focuses on strategic labor optimization and a client-centric approach to enhance productivity and the colleague experience. You will partner with operations, finance, and HR to deliver solutions that streamline workforce processes, optimize labor allocation, and empower colleagues with intuitive, efficient tools.  Your expertise in workforce management and your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be key to your success in this role.  After the launch, you will manage a portfolio of workforce management deployments, offering global governance and strategic and operational guidance to ensure cohesive and scalable program outcomes. With an emphasis on labor optimization, operational alignment, and colleague engagement, you will lead cross-functional efforts to implement UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) solutions globally. This position is ideal for a seasoned leader experienced in executing large-scale programs that deliver consistent value and enhance the colleague experience.

 

Your Day-to-Day

  • Leadership & Strategic Direction: Lead the implementation of UKG workforce management solutions, ensuring alignment with IHG’s goals for workforce optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Partnership & Value Creation: Build strategic partnerships with client operations teams, providing strategic guidance on workforce management best practices to improve labor efficiency and colleague experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead a team to deliver a unified program focused on productivity, compliance, and scalability, collaborating with internal teams to tailor UKG systems to client-specific needs.
  • Technical Configuration: Guide the configuration strategy for optimal labor utilization and colleague engagement, ensuring accurate data migration and staying current on UKG product developments.
  • Training & Change Management: Develop and deliver training initiatives, lead change management strategies for smooth transitions, and provide ongoing support post-implementation.
  • Operational Delivery & Performance Monitoring: Own processes for effective workforce planning, ensure compliance in payroll processing, and establish metrics and KPIs to measure success.
  • Innovation Delivery: Stay informed on industry trends and UKG product updates, identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships to enhance solutions and drive continuous improvement.

 

What We Need from You

Education Qualifications: 

  • B.S./B.A. degree or international equivalent in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, Human Resources or related field; advance degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience and demonstrated success in leading large-scale implementation programs that optimize workforce processes and align with operational goals.

  • Proven experience in implementing and sustaining workforce management solutions, preferably UKG or similar platforms; prior experience in hospitality preferred.

  • Strong understanding of workforce optimization principles and best practices and the interconnectedness of WFM tools to HR and payroll solutions including US wage and hour compliance.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing client needs and priorities

 

Location –Remote option - Candidate must reside in the United States.

The salary range for this role is $159,783 to $225,000.  This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
