The Role
The Head of Groups & Events Enablement will take the lead in transforming the global Groups & Events Enablement agenda—crafting and executing the strategy, operating model, and capabilities that help hotels, sales teams, and partners deliver exceptional commercial outcomes and guest experiences at scale. You’ll oversee global enablement across technology, channels, commercial programs, and guest‑experience standards, ensuring our enterprise is positioned to win in every market, with every customer.
Your Day-to-Day
- Define and evolve the global Groups & Events enablement strategy and operating model aligned to enterprise ambitions.
- Establish governance, prioritization, and delivery models to drive consistent global and regional execution.
- Scope, resource and mobilize strategic initiatives with clear outcomes, milestones, and cross functional alignment.
- Lead integrated delivery across Technology, Sales, Commercial, Brands, and Regions to accelerate enterprise impact.
- Set the enterprise technology and channel vision, overseeing key platforms and strategic partner relationships.
Remove friction across Groups & Events systems and channels to ensure platforms meet commercial objectives and customer needs.
- Define and elevate global Groups & Events commercial and guest experience standards, lifecycle requirements, programs, and measurement frameworks in partnership with Brands, Regions, and Operations/Quality
What we need from you
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Hospitality, Technology, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred but not required.
10+ years of experience across Strategy, Commercial, Sales, Enablement, Technology, Channels, or Brand functions within complex, global organizations.
Proven track record leading global, multi‑disciplinary teams through senior leaders, including direct management of Directors accountable for teams and outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to design and scale enterprise enablement strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and guest‑experience programs aligned to commercial priorities.
Extensive experience driving large‑scale, technology‑enabled transformation, embedding new capabilities, tools, and ways of working across brands, hotels, and regions.
Strong capability in shaping technology vision, roadmaps, and requirements, and in managing or influencing third‑party platforms, channels, and intermediaries in partner‑led environments.
Deep understanding of hospitality and Groups & Events ecosystems, with the ability to translate customer and operational needs into scalable enterprise standards, programs, and executive‑ready communications.
The Team
The Head of Groups & Events will lead and develop a global Groups & Events enablement organization, directly managing two Directors, each with their own teams, ensuring clear accountability, strong succession planning, and consistent delivery against enterprise priorities.
Location – Atlanta, GA. Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $172,000 to $210,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
