Role Purpose
The Sr. Manager of Operations Performance Analytics & Insights is responsible for developing performance and identifying key insights of the Americas Operations. The individual will lead the development of system-wide solutions to drive hotel performance while improving the annual target setting approach for the Region. They are responsible for the leading the team to develop and produce all key operations performance metrics reporting, dashboards, and trends, across the Americas.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead creation and maintenance of core datasets required for Performance Analytics across Operations.
- Lead creation and development of all key Americas performance dashboards to produce the annual action and prioritization plan.
- Manage stakeholder data/dashboard requirements.
- Lead analysts in the project management to deliver new datasets and dashboards.
- Leverage analytics and modelling to produce performance insights to the Americas Strategy & Planning team whilst providing regular reporting to operations performance discussion forums.
- Work with the Operations support team to define and track key initiatives.
- Identify new analytical approaches to drive efficiencies in the Operations organization.
- Define hotel level targets for the Hotel Winning Metrics; evolve the target setting methodology.
Key Skills & Experiences
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in an analytical discipline such as Economics, Operational Research, Math, Physics or finance
Experience
- 5 years in operational research, data analytics, and/or strategy consulting.
- Proven ANALYTICAL skills and application in an Operations support environment.
- INFLUENCING – Proven track record of using data to influence senior leaders in decision process.
- STAKEHOLDER MANANGEMENT – proven track record to manage and priorities stakeholder expectations.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT – able to manage projects to time and budget.
- PROBLEM SOLVING – resolve process & technical challenges in a calm and measured approach.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- TABLEAU – Create, update, maintain and new dashboards
- ALTERYX – Create& maintain workflows
- EXCEL – Advanced level – vlookup, pivots, macros etc.
- Expert business case & benefits modelling tools & methods
- Expert logical data modelling skills
- Expert communication (verbal, written, listening) skills
- High facilitation & requirements development skills
- High level critical thinking & problem-solving skills
