Key Responsibilities: Operational Duties:

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors as per IHG cleanliness standards and assigned checklists.

Ensure all guest amenities, linens, and supplies are replenished according to brand guidelines.

Inspect and report any maintenance issues, missing items, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Team Leader immediately.

Follow proper procedures for handling guest property, lost & found items, and “Do Not Disturb” rooms.

Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and ensure proper usage as per IHG standards and safety protocols.

Ensure trolleys, pantries, and storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.

Participate in deep cleaning and special projects as scheduled.

Guest Experience:

Greet guests courteously when encountered in corridors or rooms and respond promptly to their requests.

Ensure guest preferences are noted and followed wherever possible.

Report any guest feedback or complaints immediately to the Supervisor or Manager for prompt resolution.

Demonstrate “True Hospitality” by maintaining a professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Teamwork & Communication:

Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.

Support fellow colleagues and maintain a harmonious working environment.

Attend daily briefings and training sessions as scheduled.

Health, Safety & Security:

Adhere to hotel’s safety and hygiene policies at all times.

Follow fire, emergency, and evacuation procedures.

Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards as per IHG brand guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: High School / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.

Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in an international hotel brand.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic understanding of cleaning processes and chemicals

Team-oriented and guest-focused
