The Global Pricing & Enablement Strategy Manager helps shape the pricing approach for the group customer segment globally including the support of online distribution of group bookings ensuring that we maximize demand conversion and optimize hotel profit.
Your day to day
- Partner with internal teams including P&T along with key vendors to define commercial ambition globally.
- Work closely with Regional RM and Commercial leaders to socialize and ensure strategic roadmaps align with the needs of each BU
- Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps and surface them proactively to leadership.
- Partner with project manager to design and execute workplans and milestones across teams
- Partner with Enablement and Learning & Development to support needed training materials and supporting communications
- Understand competitive approaches to pricing the group segment to ensure IHG maintains best in class practices and platforms
- Support development of materials for leadership, key stakeholders and SteerCo meetings as needed
- Present at leadership and regional meetings in the assigned region or brand as needed
- Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps and surface them proactively to leadership
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8-10 years progressive work-related experience in hotel operations management, revenue management, or field consulting, with demonstrated proficiency in central reservations systems and revenue management systems, including knowledge and experience in hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization and selling strategies.
- Inspiring leadership with clear demonstration of Elevate behaviors
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with leadership, regional commercial teams and key hotel representatives.
- Demonstrated effective conflict management/resolution and negotiation/persuasion skills to persuade key partners within revenue management, and the hotels community to modify or implement various corporate-sponsored programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decisions.
- Knowledge of Revenue Management best practices, reservation systems, and revenue management systems
- Presentation skills necessary for various level audiences (peers, managers, departments, owners).
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $95,000.00 to $113,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
