Sustainability Commitment

Sustainability remains at the core of Six Senses operations. I will ensure compliance with all environmental and social responsibility directives, including waste reduction, elimination of single-use plastics, responsible sourcing, and adherence to Sustainability Guidelines.

Out of the Ordinary Experiences

I will deliver “Out of the Ordinary” experiences that inspire, delight, and create meaningful stories. By blending innovation, surprise, authenticity, and thoughtful details, every guest interaction will be transformed into a memorable wellness journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform landscaping or maintenance of the resort grounds using hand or power tools or equipment.

• Perform any combination of the following: laying grass, mowing, pruning, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, installing sprinkler systems and raking beach sand, collecting beach litter and seaweed, keeping the sea clean.

• Keep storage areas, mushroom sheds, garden beds and equipment clean.

• Familiarize yourself with machinery and tools, including their design, function, repair and maintenance.

• Keep storage areas, warehouses and equipment clean.

• Report at the workplace on schedule with high standards of appearance and personal hygiene with clean and ironed uniform as described as required by the resort.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor and Safety/Security Manager.

• Attend meetings and training as required by the Safety/Security Manager.

• Always greet guests with a smile and assist them according to company standards, providing them with all correct information.

• Report equipment malfunctions, damaged furnishings in the resort, or missing items to the corresponding Supervisor.

• Be familiar with the locations of water taps and irrigation pipes on the resort.

• Suggest cost-saving ideas; such as cuttings, reusing waste for composting.

• Assist guests with all emergency evacuation and medical procedures at the resort.

• Report any health or safety hazards to the Landscaping Supervisor.

• Supervise and maintain all garden areas, keeping them weed-free and maximizing productivity.

• For landscaping staff: care for vegetable gardens, water vegetables daily, harvest vegetables for the resort kitchen, control pests, and plant seasonal vegetables.

• Collect leftover vegetables and fruits, coffee grounds, and eggshells to make natural fertilizer. 

• Take care of the mushroom farm and harvest the mushrooms to supply the Kitchen. Maintain general cleanliness in your areas.

All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

The role requires:

• Secondary school education required.

• Professional experience in a similar role is accepted.

• Three years or more of experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, caring for, fertilizing, watering, and trimming, as well as the operation of flowers, plants, and greenery.

• Ability to work safely and reliably with various hazardous equipment.

• Must be able to work outdoors.

I maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses brand standards, operational guidelines, and service philosophy.
