Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
  • Leading with Warmth: Setting the tone for exceptional guest interactions by personally welcoming guests and ensuring the team does the same.
  • Empowering the Team: Guiding, supporting, and motivating Front Desk Agents to excel in their roles, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Seamless Operations: Overseeing the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy while resolving any complexities that may arise.
  • Financial Acumen: Managing and reconciling payments, handling billing inquiries, and ensuring adherence to financial procedures.
  • Anticipating Needs & Exceeding Expectations: Proactively identifying guest needs, offering tailored recommendations for exploring Cascais and beyond, and ensuring the team is equipped to do the same.
  • Trusted Point of Contact: Serving as a primary point of contact for guest concerns and compliments, resolving issues effectively and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Local Expertise & Sharing: Providing insightful information about Cascais and the surrounding areas, enriching the guest experience with local knowledge.
  • Shift Management Excellence: Taking responsibility for the smooth running of each shift, delegating tasks, and ensuring all team members are aware of daily priorities.
  • Training & Development Support: Assisting in the training of new team members and providing ongoing coaching to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
  • Communication Hub: Acting as a vital link between the Front Desk team and other hotel departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

 
What We need from you:
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to guide, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: You'll articulate clearly, listen attentively, and foster open communication within the team and with guests.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Your ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and turn challenges into positive guest experiences will be key.
  • Fluency in Portuguese: Essential for seamless communication with our local guests and team. Additional language skills will be highly valued.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: You'll be adept at managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and ensuring smooth shift operations.
  • Tech Savviness & Literacy: A solid understanding of reading, writing, basic mathematics, and computer systems is crucial.
  • A Passion for Service: A genuine desire to create memorable experiences and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Previous Front Office Experience: A strong foundation in front desk operations is highly desirable.
