Your day to day
Position Overview:
Shares responsibility for achieving revenue targets for groups, as well as ensuring client and sales team satisfaction. Oversees the daily supervision of a team of sales representatives. Ensures the team maximizes revenue opportunities for groups. Responsible for achieving personal targets in the Individual Corporate segment and for developing and managing relationships with corporate clients. This role requires expertise in sales and negotiation, data analysis, and trend monitoring. Proficiency in professional English is essential.
Success will be measured by sales performance against BT segment sales targets, as well as the overall performance of the Sales team.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop effective sales strategies, establish sales targets, and monitor team performance.
- Manage daily sales activities and coach the team to reach their full potential.
2. Staff Training:
- Train, develop, and mentor sales team members to enhance their sales skills and customer service capabilities.
3. Individual Corporate Client Relationship Development:
- Identify and prospect new clients.
- Maintain and strengthen strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high-quality customer service and addressing their specific needs.
- Work closely with the sales department to maximize revenue opportunities.
4. BT Sales and Negotiation:
- Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with clients, adapting to their needs while applying the hotel’s strategy.
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Conduct competitive analysis.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare sales performance and action reports.
- Analyze data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
6. Internal Coordination:
- Work closely with various hotel departments (sales, marketing, reservations, etc.) to ensure corporate client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the Group Sales team and CSM to develop cross-segment partnerships with existing clients.
What we need from you
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Speak French fluently (french environment)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer focus and service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of the business travel market and current trends.
- Proficiency with computer tools and sales management software.
