Your day to day

Revenue Audit & Verification
-
Review and reconcile daily revenue postings from all outlets (rooms, F&B, spa, and other services).

Verify that all transactions are recorded accurately in the property management and point-of-sale systems.

Ensure all complimentary, house use, and discounts are properly authorized.

Audit daily cashier reports, credit card settlements, and cash transactions.
Reporting & Financial Accuracy

Prepare daily revenue and reconciliation reports for management review.

Ensure all revenue is recorded in compliance with accounting policies and hotel standards.

Assist in preparing month-end closing reports related to income and revenue.

Highlight discrepancies, variances, or irregularities for corrective action.
Internal Control & Compliance

Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, IHG standards, and UAE regulations.

Monitor and report any misuse, fraud, or deviation from hotel policies.

Support external and internal audit requirements as needed.
Coordination & Support

Liaise with Front Office, F&B, and other departments to resolve revenue-related issues.

Support the finance team in budget planning and forecasting through accurate revenue data.

Provide training and guidance to colleagues on revenue-related procedures.

What we need from you
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-
2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of hotel PMS & POS systems (Opera, Micros, Sun System, FMC).

Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
-
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.

Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
