Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa is searching for an accomplished and forward-thinking Director of Rooms to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal position within our Executive Committee, responsible for shaping the complete guest experience and driving operational excellence across the Rooms Division.

About the Role
The Director of Rooms oversees the strategic and operational performance of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, Security, and Leisure departments. In this role, you will ensure seamless coordination across all guest touchpoints—from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart.
You will be expected to lead with clarity, professionalism, and passion; enhance operational systems; and drive both service excellence and profitability. This role is ideal for a highly engaging leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has proven experience in premium hotels or resorts.
Your day to day

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Excellence
- Manage the daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, Security & Leisure, ensuring they operate at the highest level of efficiency and service.
- Guarantee consistent compliance with IHG & Crowne Plaza brand standards, service procedures, and safety protocols.
- Ensure a flawless guest journey marked by personalised service, efficiency, and memorable interactions.
People Leadership & Culture Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor department heads to build a high-performance, service-driven culture.
- Champion colleague engagement, ensuring teams are supported, motivated, and developed.
- Conduct succession planning, skills development, and performance management for all Rooms Division leaders.
Financial Management & Productivity
- Manage departmental budgets, cost control strategies, labour forecasts, and operational expenditure.
- Analyse financial performance to optimise profitability while maintaining service excellence.
- Ensure workforce planning, productivity targets, and payroll management are tightly aligned with business volumes.
Guest Experience & Brand Reputation
- Drive continuous improvement of guest satisfaction scores through proactive service refinement.
- Review guest feedback, implement action plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate service delivery.
- Maintain the resort’s reputation as a preferred destination for both leisure and business travellers.
Strategic Projects & Enhancement
- Lead the rejuvenation and continuous enhancement of the Rooms Division, incorporating modern systems, technology, and best practices.
- Identify operational gaps and develop forward-thinking solutions that uplift quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with the General Manager and EXCOM to support long-term strategic direction and hotel business goals.
What we need from you
We are looking for an individual who has a strong blend of operational expertise, leadership excellence, and brand stewardship. The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience as a Director of Rooms, Rooms Division Manager, or equivalent role within a 5 star property.
- Strong history of working towards KPIs, targets, and guest satisfaction metrics.
- Proven ability in budget management, forecasting, and financial accountability.
- A minimum of 5–10 years of hotel management experience.
- Hands-on and professional experience in Housekeeping, Front Office, and Reservations operations.
- A strategic mindset paired with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lead large, diverse operational teams with clarity, empathy, and strength.
- Experience with IHG systems is an advantage but not essential.
