The Assistant Spa Manager supports the Spa Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the spa to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency. This role involves supervising spa team members, maintaining service standards, managing scheduling, and assisting with financial and marketing goals to enhance the spa’s profitability and reputation.


Your day to day

Operations Management

  • Assist in the daily management and smooth operation of the spa and wellness facilities.

  • Supervise therapists, receptionists, and attendants to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

  • Ensure all spa areas are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for product replenishment.

  • Support the implementation of spa protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Guest Experience

  • Ensure guests receive personalized, professional, and memorable experiences.

  • Handle guest complaints or feedback promptly and professionally.

  • Promote spa services, packages, and retail products to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

  • Maintain strong guest relationships and encourage repeat business.

Team Leadership

  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of spa staff.

  • Support employee scheduling, attendance, and performance management.

  • Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative team environment.

  • Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to maintain service excellence.

Financial & Sales Support

  • Assist in achieving spa revenue and profitability goals.

  • Support in preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Promote retail sales and develop strategies to increase treatment bookings and product sales.

  • Ensure proper billing and adherence to financial procedures.

Marketing & Promotion

 

  • Assist with spa promotions, seasonal offers, and partnerships.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create attractive campaigns and social media content.

  • Stay updated with industry trends to introduce innovative treatments and experiences.


What we need from you

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a spa or wellness center.

  • Strong knowledge of spa operations, treatments, and retail products.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Customer-oriented with a passion for wellness and hospitality.

  • Proficiency in spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

  • Diploma or certification in Spa Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
