Holiday Inn Werribee is situated in the heart of the Werribee city centre, being the talk of the town for Werribee and surrounds. The hotel occupies the top four floors of the mixed use 12 storey premises and boasts sweeping views right across to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour. The hotel offers 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites, gym, outdoor garden courtyard, all day dining in our Rosana Bistro & Bar and a large, versatile conference and events spaces.

 

A little taste of your day to day 

  • Leading by example providing exceptional service in line with Holiday Inn Brand Standards throughout Rosana Bistro and Bar, Room Service, Conference and Events.
  • Ensure proper setup, execution, and breakdown of conference and event spaces, including catering and beverage services tailored to client banquet event order specifications. 
  • Coaching, mentoring and training colleagues whilst leading and coordinating the operational outlets.  
  • People development check in conversations, probationary reviews and annual performance reviews 
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints and concerns, solicit feedback and build relationships that drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction.  
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food handling and responsible service of alcohol standards. 
  • Rostering colleagues in accordance to the outlets business forecasts and requirements, managing labor costs, and optimising shift efficiency. 

 

What we need from you 

  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities being firm and fair with people management  
  • Engaging interpersonal and excellent communication skills 
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in event planning and execution. 
  • Planning in advance, ability to adapt and embrace unexpected operational situation changes 
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
  • Available to work a rotational roster that includes early mornings starting at 6.30am, afternoons, late evenings for events, weekends and public holidays are all part of the job 
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage pairing for both dining and event menus.  
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, menu planning, inventory management, and event catering. 
  • Proficient in point-of-sale Infosys and Opera. Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full unlimited Australian working rights (Sponsorship is not available)
