Food & Beverage Supervisor

InterContinental Wellington is host to outstanding culinary excellence and an array of 5 Food & Beverage outlets to suit every occasion.

We are currently looking for a talented Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. 

Your day to day

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will bring your approachable demeanor and genuine passion for hospitality to create exceptional and memorable guest experiences. In this role, you’ll confidently balance multiple responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations while consistently delivering outstanding service, with a preference for conference and events.

You’ll take a hands-on approach to leading and inspiring your team, providing support, training, and guidance to uphold high performance standards. You’ll also play an active role in staffing, onboarding, and performance management, helping to foster a motivated and service-focused team culture.

What we need from you

• Strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with guests and other team members
• The ability to problem solve & remain calm in busy periods
• Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays
• A strong team player attitude
• 2+ years' experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment
• Preference for Conference & Events
