Step into a leadership role where your passion for hospitality and people will shine as Food & Beverage Duty Manager. The successful applicant will lead our signature restaurant The Fireplace, while supporting the resort’s additional dining venues and bar outlets.
About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you’ll inspire and lead our talented F&B team, ensuring seamless service across our venues while driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development.
You’ll combine your passion for creating unforgettable dining experiences with strong leadership and commercial acumen, working closely with the Food & Beverage Management team to bring the InterContinental experience to life.
Your Day to Day
- Lead daily food & beverage operations across outlets, ensuring exceptional service and consistency with brand standards.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members through performance feedback and ongoing training.
- Oversee staffing, rostering, and cost management in line with budgets, with a strong focus on labour, food and beverage cost control.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Drive guest satisfaction through proactive engagement and swift resolution of feedback or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements.
- Partner with the leadership team to analyse performance, drive revenue, and maximise profitability.
- Champion IHG’s brand standards, behaviours, and service culture in every interaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a high-end F&B environment.
- A strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, cost management, and guest experience delivery.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Certification or permits as required by local government regulations.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
