Informs other operatingdepartments of Housekeeping matters, which concern notably the Front Office, toensure accurate room status, in addition to communicating with Engineering andthe Laundry

Schedules routine inspections bysupervisors, of all housekeeping areas including occupied and non-occupiedrooms Inspects guest rooms in all Housekeeping areas on a regular basis toensure furnishing, facilities and equipment are clean and in good repair, wellmaintained and replaced / refurbished as required

Appraise appearance, disciplineand efficiency of all staff under direct supervision and initiate immediateremedial action if necessary

Follows up on progress ofagenda items covered in regular meetings

Supervise the implementation ofhousekeeping standards and procedures in relation to:

Complete the inventory regularly as required.

Maintain stock levels

Assist inmonitoring and controlling Floor and PA procedures including lost and found,key control, security and emergency procedures, health and safety foremployees and guests.

Conducts shift briefings toensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
