The InterContinental Hotels Group® at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. These include the luxury and lifestyle brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the premium Crowne Plaza, and the essentials Holiday Inn & Suites. A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Work with AMC contractors to carry out preventive & corrective maintenance.
• Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard
• Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer to meet customer requirements
• Initiate/identify improvement work required throughout the hotel for FLS issues.
• Implement and action the preventative maintenance program
• Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule considering guest priorities
• General building minor maintenance repairs
• Ensure plant rooms are checked and cleaned and are in operating order
• Respond to requests from departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day
• Conduct lighting checks to ensure all globes are in working order
• Carry out any minor repairs to guest rooms or public areas
• Liaise directly with departments regarding the completion of work orders and prioritise in order of guest satisfaction 

What we need from you:

• Basic knowledge on low voltage system
• Experience of Fire Alarm System network/ELV system network such as EBS, PA system, CCTV, ANPR etc.
• Experience of Fire Fighting System network/Kitchen hood Ansul system, LPG monitoring system,
• Experience of (DM) Dubai Municipality and (DCD) Dubai Civil Defence regulations - Optional
• At least 2-year previous experience in a similar role in a 4*-5* property
• Good communication skills
