The F&B Manager Concept and Innovation role manages and implements food and beverage strategy and innovation for IHG’s Premium brands, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, and voco Hotels—on a global scale.
The focus is on delivering high-impact initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction (GuestLove) and elevate F&B experience. The role supports hotel teams by providing tools, training, resources, and guidance to improve performance and guest experience worldwide.
You’ll develop F&B programs that drive revenue, maintain brand standards, and strengthen brand loyalty and profitability. This includes launching new restaurant/bar concepts, guest room enhancements, and public space innovations aligned with each brand’s identity.
Success depends on strong collaboration with global cross-functional teams in Training, Operations, Development, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistency and support brand growth across all markets.
Your day to day
- Strategic Planning & Alignment: In partnership with the Brand Director and cross-functional teams, develop and execute multi-year strategic plans for global food and beverage innovation programs. Ensure alignment with key internal and external stakeholders, including IHG Owners Association, hotel owners, and operators. Drive global planning processes, metrics, accountability frameworks, and secure cross-regional commitment.
- Program Delivery & Execution: Lead implementation task forces for innovation rollouts across global markets, ensuring initiatives are effectively communicated, resourced, and measured. Coordinate with workstream leads to deliver core priorities, share best practices, and adapt based on evolving business needs.
- Market Localization: Tailor global innovations to regional markets based on guest insights, commercial realities, and local competition. Apply learnings from each market to continuously improve offerings and enhance relevance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and deliver communication strategies to engage internal teams and external stakeholders (owners, operators, GMs), ensuring buy-in and alignment with broader brand initiatives. Foster strong global relationships to support program adoption and investment.
- Brand Standards & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Brand Managers to evolve brand standards, ensuring global consistency with local flexibility. Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience, drive operational efficiency, and deliver commercial impact.
What we need from you
- University Bachelor degree Marketing/Brand Management or other, relevant commercial discipline
- (Ideally) Project Management qualifications (Post-Graduate Diploma, Prince 2)
- 6-8 years in hospitality (desired) or other service sector, preferably within a large multinational company, with roles focused on Project Management and/or Brand Management roles.
- Demonstrate strong strategic-thought and understanding of the hospitality industry
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong cognitive skills – including problem solving, decision making, relationship management and analysis
- Action oriented and results driven
- Commercially savvy
- Operational experience (desired)
- Culturally sensitive and team oriented with outstanding influencing and networking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work through people to achieve results in a matrix environment and the ability to adjust by audience
- Work well under stress and have the ability to manage projects and programs in an environment with tight deadlines.
Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $110,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
