The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in all F&B outlets at Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC. This role ensures that every guest experiences warm hospitality, efficient service, and consistent delivery of IHG brand standards. The Attendant assists in daily operations, maintains cleanliness, and contributes to a seamless dining experience.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus, explain items, and provide recommendations when required.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
  • Deliver dishes and beverages to guests in accordance with service standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Set up dining areas, buffets, and service stations according to outlet requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, counters, and work areas.
  • Follow proper opening and closing checklists for the outlet.
  • Ensure all equipment, utensils, and glassware are clean and properly stocked.
  • Support banquet setups, room service operations, or other F&B areas when needed.
  • Follow IHG and Crowne Plaza brand service standards at all times.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP).
  • Comply with responsible service of alcohol regulations.
  • Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards as per hotel policy.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Participate in trainings, briefings, and team meetings.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant is preferred; freshers are welcome.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage operations.
  • Experience in a luxury or international hotel brand is an advantage.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Good command of English; Arabic or other languages is a plus.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to carry trays and handle light-to-moderate lifting.
