As a F&B Agent cum Bartender at Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park, you play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining and beverage experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities include serving guests with professionalism, creating innovative beverages, and ensuring smooth operations within the Food & Beverage department.
Responsibilities:
Food & Beverage Service
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver items promptly.
- Provide menu recommendations and assist guests with dietary preferences or questions.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout service.
Bartending Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Create signature cocktails to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
- Ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations and hotel policies.
Operational Support
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of service areas, including restaurants, bars, and banquet spaces.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Handle cash, process payments, and manage billing accurately.
Guest Experience
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints with a positive and solution-focused attitude.
- Build rapport with guests to create personalized experiences and encourage repeat visits.
Hygiene and Safety
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards as per hotel and local health regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
Teamwork
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
- Support other team members during busy periods or special events.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Certificate or diploma in Hospitality, F&B Service, or a related field is an advantage.
- Prior experience in F&B service and bartending is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and coffee preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Other Requirements
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficiency in English & Bahasa (additional languages are an advantage).
- Attended Food Handler Training & Typhoid Injection valid.
