I will deliver “Out of the Ordinary” housekeeping performance by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, consistency, and operational excellence. Through meticulous attention to detail, strong team leadership, integrity, and proactive quality control, every space will reflect comfort, care, and exceptional standards that enhance the overall guest experience.
Operational Ownership
I assume full responsibility for the efficient and profitable operation of the Housekeeping department in accordance with Six Senses brand standards and approved budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure daily housekeeping operations deliver flawless room readiness and brand-standard cleanliness.
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance products, services, and overall departmental performance in line with Six Senses wellness and sustainability standards.
- Lead, rejuvenate, and oversee departmental operations across guestrooms and public areas, ensuring consistent adherence to LQA standards through regular on-site presence.
- Drive exceptional guest experiences by leading a highly engaged team, proactively handling guest feedback, and ensuring effective service recovery when required.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, statutory, financial, safety, and security requirements, maintaining all documentation, reporting systems, and operational protocols.
- Review and optimize room amenities, services, products, and pricing to remain relevant, innovative, and aligned with brand standards.
- Manage departmental budgets responsibly, closely monitoring costs to drive profitability while preserving required service and quality standards.
- Maintain clear cross-departmental communication and participate in required meetings and briefings, supporting smooth operations and executing additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.

All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
Accountability & Leadership Presence
I am a visible, hands-on, and strategic leader with strong organizational and decision-making capabilities. I drive results across guest satisfaction, host engagement, operational excellence, revenue growth, and profitability, while strengthening the property’s market positioning.
Skills & Experience
The role requires:
- Qualified for the Executive Housekeeper role with proven experience in luxury hotel operations and strong performance results.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business Management, at least five years’ experience in similar operational roles.
- Possess advanced technical skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and hands-on experience with OPERA and other hotel systems.
- Demonstrate strong operational knowledge of hotel/resort procedures, including room allocation policies, with excellent command of written and spoken English and understanding of local culture.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses brand standards, guidelines, rules and regulations, facilities, and services.
