Engineering Assistant – Multi-Skilled

Are you technically versatile, proactive, and hands-on? We are looking for an Engineering Assistant – Multi-Skilled who will support daily engineering operations by handling a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel’s facilities remain safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Assisting the Engineering team with day-to-day maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Handling basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and civil maintenance tasks.
• Responding promptly to guest maintenance requests and operational work orders.
• Supporting preventive maintenance schedules and routine inspections.
• Assisting in troubleshooting minor technical issues and escalating complex faults when required.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Updating maintenance logs, job cards, and checklists accurately.
• Following hotel safety procedures and statutory regulations at all times.
• Supporting contractors and technicians during maintenance or repair works when assigned.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Technician or Engineering Assistant, preferably in a hotel or large facility.
• Hands-on knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance works.
• Technical certificate, diploma, or trade qualification will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic language will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of handling operational maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
