Electrician - Six Senses Kanuhura

Duties and Responsibilities 

As Electrician, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following: 

• Executes plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems. 
• Installs electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems. 
• Installs safety and distribution components.
• Prevents breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. 
• Performs effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units. 
• Installs safety and distribution components. 
• Maintains working area and makes sure that all working areas remain clean at all times. 
• Uses personal safety wares for personal safety while on duty. 
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. 
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments. 

Qualifications

To execute the position of Electrician, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or valid license to practice profession and at least 1 year experience in a similar setting. 
• Technical skills include the ability to analyze and design projects and maintaining full knowledge of electrical drawings, installing machines, wiring, electrical equipment and blueprints. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools.
• Fluent in English
