About the Role

The Duty Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring smooth hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences during assigned shifts. Acting as the senior manager on duty, you will oversee daily operations, support teams across departments, and ensure service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Act as Manager on Duty, overseeing overall hotel operations
  • Maintain a visible presence in guest areas and engage proactively with guests
  • Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally and efficiently
  • Ensure VIP arrivals and departures are personally monitored
  • Coordinate closely with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Leadership & Team Support

  • Supervise and support Front of House and operational teams on shift
  • Ensure colleagues understand their roles, responsibilities, and service standards
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment

Administration & Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and adjust duty rosters based on operational needs
  • Monitor attendance, payroll inputs, and operational reporting
  • Oversee End of Day audit processes and ensure timely completion
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and financial control standards
What We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager or in a Front Office leadership role
  • Background in a luxury or international hotel environment
  • Strong guest focus with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead calmly in a fast-paced operational setting
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage
  • Flexible to work shifts and comfortable in a hands-on, active role
