This role will Support VP Operations, L&L, GC to develop and execute L&L people strategy, embed the L&L culture, build L&L capability and talent.

 

Your day to day

Talent

•Partner with the global L&L HR to design and execute a L&L talent intervention to build a sustainable L&L talent pipeline in GC, and have a talent process in place to grow the talent with people managers, including talent review, people planning, Hipo programs for different levels
•Building the L&L Hotel HR & Training succession and pipeline to fulfil the future needs

 

Culture

•Partner with the global L&L HR and Learning team, and ensure our hotels to drive IHG and the L&L Brand Culture through culture initiative and training
•Drive the DE&I agenda at hotels
 

Capability

•Partner with the global L&L HR and Learning team to localize and embed the L&L capability programs for all levels
•Ensure our hotels to fully utilize IHG HR system and tools and embrace “our people tool”

 

Organization

•Support the L&L VP Operations to design and implement effective structure, and ensure the
•Drive the hotel labor efficiency through program,s i.e. manning 2.0

 

Compliance and others

•Partner with Legal team to guide the people managers and Hotel HR dealing with compliance issues, and minimize IHG risk
 

 

What we need from you

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
• A consulting experience is a plus
• Experience working with global and local counterparts where require collaboration between different stakeholders is required
• Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
• 8 years+ experience in Human Resources Management
• Strong planning and execution skills;
• Ability to frame a problem; scope, manage, and deliver a project
• Ability to work with global counterparts to provide inputs, co-design the solutions, and localize the programs if needed
• Excellent consultative and communication skills;
• Ability to diagnose problems and thoroughly analyze information to guide decision making;
• Ability to drive and embed new initiatives in business
• Business acumen that will enable an effective business partnering role with key stakeholders
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
