Wellness & Brand Leadership

I will safeguard and elevate the Spa & Wellness philosophy, concepts, programs, and brand initiatives, including Mission Wellness activities. All wellness pillars will be fully integrated into departmental strategy, planning, and daily operations.

Spa treatments, wellness programs, fitness offerings, visiting practitioner initiatives, and retail concepts will be continuously reviewed to ensure relevance, innovation, and alignment with brand standards and sustainability practices.

Sustainability Commitment

Sustainability remains at the core of Spa & Wellness operations. I will ensure compliance with all environmental and social responsibility directives, including waste reduction, elimination of single-use plastics, responsible sourcing, and adherence to Sustainability Guidelines.

Clear performance goals will be established to improve environmental impact while maintaining operational excellence and cultural sensitivity within the destination.

Out of the Ordinary Experiences

I will deliver “Out of the Ordinary” Spa & Wellness experiences that inspire, delight, and create meaningful stories. By blending innovation, surprise, authenticity, and thoughtful details, every guest interaction will be transformed into a memorable wellness journey.

Operational Ownership

I assume full responsibility for the efficient and profitable operation of the Spa & Wellness department in accordance with Six Senses brand standards and approved budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic collaboration with the General Manager to define and achieve departmental goals
  • Development and execution of annual business plans and budgets
  • Monthly P&L review and financial performance optimization
  • Implementation of KPI-driven performance management
  • Ensuring compliance with LQA and brand audit standards
  • Maintaining accurate reporting systems and legal documentation
  • Monitoring spa website accuracy and wellness marketing visibility
  • I will ensure seamless collaboration with all departments to deliver a cohesive guest experience aligned with brand identity.

Sales & Marketing Leadership

I will develop and implement a comprehensive annual Spa & Wellness marketing plan, working closely with Sales & Marketing teams to drive revenue through:

  • Pre-arrival and in-house wellness promotion
  • Spa packages and curated wellness programs
  • Visiting Experts calendar management
  • CRM initiatives and guest engagement strategies
  • Revenue tracking and sales performance analysis
  • All offerings will reflect market trends, guest expectations, and brand direction.

People Management

As Director of Spa & Wellness, I am responsible for recruiting, developing, and leading an engaged, high-performing team of hosts.

I will:

  • Partner with Human Resources to identify and recruit top talent
  • Develop Individual Development Plans for high-potential hosts
  • Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence
  • Model professionalism, integrity, and cultural respect

Responsible Business & Compliance

All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.

Accountability & Leadership Presence

I am a visible, hands-on, and strategic leader with strong organizational and decision-making capabilities. I drive results across guest satisfaction, host engagement, operational excellence, revenue growth, and profitability, while strengthening the property’s market positioning.

Skills & Experience

The role requires:

  • Degree or professional qualification in Wellness or Hotel Management
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a senior leadership role within luxury Spa & Wellness environments
  • Strong financial acumen and Spa Management system proficiency
  • Advanced MS Office and communication skills
  • Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of local language is an advantage

I maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses brand standards, operational guidelines, and service philosophy.
