As Director of Sales & Marketing at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, part of the IHG® Hotels & Resorts family, you will lead a high-performing team to position the hotel as a market leader in Bali’s competitive lifestyle and luxury segment. In alignment with IHG’s global standards and brand vision, your role will focus on unlocking demand across key markets, strengthening brand presence, and executing integrated sales and marketing initiatives that align with IHG’s commercial framework.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the hotel's objectives and IHG's brand standards.
  • Work closely with Revenue Management and Distribution to optimize room yield, drive RevPAR, and leverage data analytics.
  • Lead and work closely with the digital manager on end-to-end digital marketing to drive brand growth and business results across all channels
  • Strategically identify and cultivate high-potential markets, setting clear objectives and performance indicators to drive a more diversified and sustainable market mix
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel trade partners, media, and industry influences to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis to ensure financial goals are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and adjust tactics to drive market share, RevPAR, and total revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and challenges. Utilize data-driven insights to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement. Provide regular coaching and performance evaluations to ensure team goals are met.
  • Champion the Hotel Indigo brand voice and position in all marketing and communication initiatives, ensuring consistency with IHG's brand identity while celebrating local neighborhood stories.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be ready to wear multiple hats, stepping in to support high-priority initiatives beyond core responsibilities
  • Spearhead strategic initiatives to elevate Hotel Indigo Bali’s global profile, securing prestigious awards and media features on renowned platforms such as Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Skift, and other leading travel and hospitality publications

What we need from you

We’re looking for a passionate commercial leader with a strong balance of strategic thinking, leadership, and operational know-how. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior Sales & Marketing role in the 5-star hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proven experience working within a global hotel brand (IHG preferred), with a deep understanding of brand positioning, guest expectations, and commercial systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in digital marketing, revenue management, and brand development.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  •  Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to develop, present, and manage multi-million-dollar revenue strategies and budgets.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, e-commerce, and performance marketing. Proficiency in using data and tools to drive direct bookings and engagement.
  • Ability to develop innovative sales campaigns and marketing activations that reflect both the local neighborhood and global brand standards.
  • Cross-functional mindset with the ability to work closely with Revenue, F&B, Rooms Division, Spa, and Events teams to maximize total hotel performance.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.
