Role Summary:
Serve as a senior capability resource and divisional top-level architectural escalation point in area of expertise. Support divisional and Global Technology Services strategies through development of cross-functional solutions and resolve broad, complex problems with medium-to-long-term impact to the Company. Provide advanced levels of systems expertise and advise senior management and/or executive corporate management on technology issues impacting the Company. May lead and review the work of less experienced staff and/or provide mentoring, technical guidance and/or training in daily activities.
Your Day to Day:
- Based on broad objectives from senior management, provide solutions to highly complex product issues where the approach may not be well defined. Identify, define and analyze complex problems and provide solutions requiring a high level of ingenuity and innovativeness.
- Ensure cross-functional applications/systems/platforms of responsibility are recoverable in the event of a disaster, emergency or testing sequence. Maintain DR consistency within IT and ensure adherence to corporate DR plans.
- Consult and advise Sr. management and/or the customer on technical aspects of major programs to meet long-term goals. Analyze and diagnose business processes for divisional business units and propose projects. May provide project estimates, and work plans. Active member of projects estimating committee for assigned areas of responsibility. May perform as project lead on advanced specialized projects.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and capabilities coming to market and their potential application to current strategies and business plans.
- Conceive and design new techniques to meet major corporate goals and objectives.
- Provide product direction & design review to all levels of designers/developers as well as senior management.
What We Need From You:
- 12+ year’s progressive technical or product experience in a multiple operating system hardware and/or application platform as well as 7-10 years of project management experience on significant and highly complex projects.
- Broad knowledge of Company policies, products, markets, processes, technical platforms and major applications as well as an understanding of business principles and practices.
- Demonstrated technical experience in supporting corporate strategies through the development of cross-functional solutions from a technical and financial viewpoint.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to take highly technical information and present to all levels of management, technical staffs and business/professional contacts. Strong consulting and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated skills in advanced diagnostics and problem-solving methodologies.
- Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large scale projects from conception through implementation. $8-15M (combined projects).
Location – Atlanta GA (Hybrid – in office 3 days a week)
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $200,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employee.
