Set in the heart of Glasgow city centre, voco Grand Central blends over 140 years of heritage with voco’s modern, un-stuffy spirit. From our striking Victorian architecture and light-filled ballroom to our award-winning Champagne Central Bar, we create spaces that invite guests to relax, connect, and feel genuinely welcomed. At voco, everyone’s a host. We’re reliably different, informal but professional, warm but polished and deeply committed to making every stay feel easy, human, and memorable. Sustainability and conscious choices are woven throughout the guest journey, ensuring we care not just for our guests, but for our environment and our communities too.
As Director of Operations, you’ll be a key leader within the hotel, working in close partnership with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and shape the hotel’s strategic direction.
You’ll lead across all hotel Operations collaborating closely with Finance, HR and Commercial, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, and consistently brilliant guest experiences. A visible and inspiring presence, you’ll coach and develop department leaders, build high-performing teams, and confidently lead through change always keeping people and guests at the heart of every decision.
You will also build strong internal and external relationships, champion continuous improvement and help position voco Grand Central as a standout destination in the Glasgow market.

- Strong Food & Beverage leadership experience, ideally within a multi-venue operation

- A genuine pride in team success, collaboration and creating memorable guest experiences together.
