Lead the strategy, performance, and ongoing optimization of IHG One Rewards’ key loyalty driving revenue products including Points + Cash, Points Purchase, and Bonus Point Packages. This role shapes and drives the enterprise point‑purchase strategy, ensuring alignment with IHG’s financial and strategic priorities. Success requires strong cross‑functional leadership, disciplined business planning, and a clear focus on revenue growth and innovation.
The Director will manage partner and agency relationships, guide product and pricing strategy, and collaborate closely with Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Analytics to deliver a best‑in‑class member experience and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Your Day-To-Day
- Serve as the enterprise expert on point‑purchase products and define long‑term strategic direction.
- Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies and multi‑year product roadmaps that balance member value, hotel economics, and IHG financial goals.
- Partner with Finance, Marketing, and Analytics to drive performance reviews, inform prioritization, and support Executive Committee reporting.
- Monitor point sale product performance up to daily, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance performance always with a plan B and even C in your back-pocket.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Technology teams to test, refine, and implement new initiatives, serving as the business lead and product owner.
- Assess and respond to competitive dynamics as well as macro-economic conditions to position IHG as the industry leader in this space.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Strategy, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Experience: 10+ years in Marketing, Loyalty, or Finance, with a strong track record in driving business growth.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while remaining a problem solver, opportunity seeker, and collaborative leader.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Comfortable overseeing vendor and agency relationships to optimize performance and align shared targets and goals.
- Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in budget management and financial metrics to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Leadership & Change Management: Ability to lead change in a complex, global organization, inspiring teams and stakeholders. Proven track record influencing without authority across regions, functions, and senior leadership.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to influence and persuade top executives at IHG.
- Problem-Solving & Negotiation: Effective problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
- Product Management: Experience with business requirements gathering customer research, documentation, and established product management methodologies.
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $155,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
