As we continue to expand our presence across the Middle East, we’re looking for a Manager, Development (KSA) to join our centrally located Riyadh office and play a pivotal role in driving IHG’s growth across the Kingdom. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative corporate team with a fantastic culture and strong senior leadership support.
This is a high impact, market-facing role for a development professional who knows how to identify opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and navigate conversations with owners, investors, developers and institutional stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Work closely with the Senior Director, KSA to support IHG’s growth agenda, identifying, sourcing and securing high quality opportunities across key cities and secondary markets in the Kingdom.
Actively seek out opportunities across new builds, conversions, portfolio deals and owners.
Build and maintain a strong industry network, stay updated with market activity and build relationships with owners, developers, consultants, investment groups, government stakeholders and tourism bodies.
Assess and analyse opportunities independently, evaluating site suitability, brand fit, commercial viability and deal structure.
Support negotiation processes end-to-end, working closely with senior development leadership and partnering with Investment Analysis and other internal stakeholders.
Support RFP responses, feasibility inputs, and internal approval workflows, producing clear, informative presentations and creative decks for decision-making.
Collaborate across IHG functions, design & engineering, operations, finance, and legal, to progress deals from concept to signing.
Maintain a strong understanding of KSA market intelligence including competitor activity, pipeline trends, development costs, and investment appetite.
We will support you to hit the ground running, drive the pipeline independently, and represent IHG confidently with senior stakeholders across the Saudi market.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in hotel development, consulting, real estate advisory, or hotel operations with strong commercial exposure.
Arabic and English fluency required (written and spoken).
An understanding of franchise and managed hotel agreements.
Knowledge of hotel project economics, investment metrics, and feasibility fundamentals.
Strong awareness of Middle East hotel markets and experience in KSA is a strong advantage.
Ability to independently assess opportunities and identify commercially sound prospects.
Excellent client facing capability, relationship building skills and strong presentation ability.
An energetic, resilient and consultative approach, important when working with institutional owners and a fast-evolving market.
Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, opportunity-oriented and commercially sharp.
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a corporate environment.
Bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality, Real Estate, Business, or experience in a related field.
