As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and cook Mediterranean and European cuisine items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing and organizing your section within the kitchen.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes served to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in your working area.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to senior chefs.
• Participate in menu development and provide input on new dish ideas and seasonal menus.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
• Work efficiently during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of all dishes.
• Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Culinary diploma or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary school.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Proven experience specializing in Mediterranean and European cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating specific to Mediterranean and European dishes.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
