Demi Chef de Partie

Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC is seeking a passionate and talented Demi Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. You will be responsible for supporting the Chef de Partie in delivering high-quality food, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction in line with IHG and Crowne Plaza brand standards.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in your assigned section.
• Ensure food production is in accordance with hotel recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas, adhering strictly to HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
• Handle daily mise-en-place and food preparation for all meal periods.
• Take ownership of the section in the absence of the Chef de Partie.
• Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food items in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Maintain a positive, productive, and professional relationship with all team members.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a 4- or 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Culinary diploma or relevant professional certification.
• Sound knowledge of international cuisine; experience with buffet and a la carte operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP certified is a plus).
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
