We are looking for a fantastic Conference & Events Supervisor to work in our award-winning Conference & Events spaces.  

 

Your day to day

As a Conference & Events Supervisor, you will play a key role in bringing events to life, ensuring smooth operations from setup to delivery. You'll help operationally coordinate and execute seamless, high quality events that exceed guest expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of conference and event setups and services
  • Communicating and delegating tasks based on function sheets to ensure timely execution
  • Supervising and supporting team members during event operations
  • Assisting in achieving departmental goals and service standards
  • Guiding new team members through onboarding and hands-on training
  • Working closely with the Conference & Events Coordination team to bring event plans to life.

 

What we need from you

  • 2+ years' experience in conference and events spaces. 
  • Strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with guests and other team members
  • The ability to problem solves & remain calm in busy periods
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays
  • A strong team player attitude
